The purpose of this session was to describe issues and explore opportunities that will enable the design process to evolve beyond traditional uses of visualization (how things will look), and advance it as a more integral part of analysis, collaboration and decision-making to improve project delivery, operations, and end-user performance.
The session format included a team of panelists with facilitated discussions, interspersed with short presentations by subject matter experts. Ideas for future action and needed research were captured throughout the workshop.
